GONV | Gun Owners of Nevada

Gun Owners of Nevada is a Nevada non-profit corporation and is a non-partisan organization.

GONV has a volunteer staff and is not legally affiliated with any other organization, yet we are allied with several other statewide groups throughout the US. Please see our links page under State Wide Groups. GONV will focus on the city, county and state levels, similar to the way the National Association for Gun Rights and Gun Owners of America work at the national level.

As a single issue organization, GONV seeks to prevent any further encroachment upon the rights of law abiding citizens to own, possess and carry personal defense weapons. Our goal is to implement “Vermont Style Carry” within the state of Nevada. Click here to see more about a Vermont Style Carry

For a good example of an organization we are modeled on, see Oregon Firearms Federation. This group has had tremendous success in Oregon and our goal is to replicate that achievement here in the Silver State with gonv.org

GONV is committed to gun owners and not politicians. GONV will sit down with anyone, but GONV is not authorized to negotiate away anyone's rights. When it comes to gun rights, GONV will not Compromise.
