Folks, it’s time to take action again.

Your gun rights depend on it.

REAL ID (backdoor National ID Card) has been revived in the Nevada State Legislature and your elected officials need to hear from you ASAP.

We warned you about REAL ID earlier this year and some had thought it couldn’t be resurrected. Saturday, May 16, Nevada moved a step closer to capitulating to a national ID card. Even on weekends our Nevada Legislators (of both parties) can be counted on to infringe on your gun rights.

They must hear your outrage ASAP.

Gun owners should be very concerned about the promotion of a national ID card. The current administration has been openly hostile to gun ownership and we can only imagine the abuses that will flow from this legislation. We must NOT let Nevada Legislators become lapdogs to Washington DC.

The failed Brady Bill has proven what corrupt national databases can do to harm gun rights. We've also seen it in our own ‘Baby Brady’ here in Nevada, which continues to prohibit law abiding citizens from purchasing firearms.

National ID cards under the control of administrations hostile to gun rights promise to be a nightmare. Nevada should join the states that have had the courage to stand up to the Federal Government and not capitulate to unconstitutional demands.

Please demand that your Nevada elected officials do just that.

Dear Senators,

I DO NOT support SB 52 "Real I.D."

I urge you to join other states and refuse to capitulate to unconstitutional federal demands that Nevadans be required to have a national id card.

Law abiding Nevada citizens should not be subject to invasions of their privacy.

I urge you to reject SB 52.
